COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

At Oliver Carty & Family we believe our business can have a positive impact on local communities through support for charitable and not for profit organisations.

We strive to give back to the local community through supporting and volunteering with our chosen charities, donating cash as well as taking part in organised events such as 5k runs, marathons, tag rugby and community gardening.

We also believe reducing food waste achieves great things for the community and the environment.  So we’re delighted to be working with FoodCloud – the Irish social enterprise that’s working hard to reduce the environmental, social, and economic impact of food waste by redistributing surplus food to a network of charity and community group partners.

Our charities and programmes of choice include but are not limited to:

  • Jack and Jill Children Foundation
  • Simon Community Athlone
  • South Westmeath Hospice Foundation
  • St. Hilda’s Services Athlone
  • Marist College Athlone
  • Buccaneers Rugby Club
  • Local sports clubs including St. Brigid’s GAA Club and Monksland Football Club
